Marcus Rashford is prepared to undergo a medical examination with Aston Villa, as Manchester United includes a £40 million purchase option in the loan agreement.
An arrangement has been established for Villa to assume responsibility for 70 percent of Rashford's weekly salary of £325,000 during the loan period for the remainder of the season. Additionally, there is a buy option set at £40 million ($49.5 million/€48.8 million), which could lead to a subsequent contract lasting three and a half years. A medical examination has also been scheduled for Sunday, according to  Fabrizio Romano in his post on X(Twitter).


Rashford showed his desire to leave Manchester United six weeks prior, yet it was unexpected for him to be excluded from the squad for almost two months due to a continuing dispute with head coach Ruben Amorim. However, after unsuccessful transfer attempts, matchday exclusions, and various false hopes, the 27-year-old appears to be on the verge of departing from Old Trafford.

Aston Villa has on until 11 pm Monday before the transfer window closes to finalize the deal with Rashford.
